Flossing while wearing braces is essential for promoting healthy gums and helping to avoid periodontal disease, cavities, and tooth decay. For these reasons, the Platypus Flosser's design features elements intended to make the flossing process quick and trouble-free in order to support better flossing compliance.

The unique spatula end of the flosser fits easily under wires to eliminate the need for threading. At the other end of the handle is a convenient brush for cleaning around brace brackets.

Instructions
Insert the spatula end of the flosser under the wire and press the spatula lightly against teeth to remove slack then slide the floss up between teeth. For best results, be sure to maintain pressure against teeth while flossing in difficult to reach areas.
