From: GC MI Paste with Recaldent - Mint 1pk (35 mL) My dentist recommended MI Paste to me and I have been using it ever since. I have used the vanilla flavor and the mint flavor and like both of them. I think the paste is easy to use and I recommend it for building up the minerals our teeth need.

Her teeth were sensitive along the gumline and she had 2 teeth that had developed small cavities near the gumline, about the size of a pinhead. For about a month, she has been applying MI Paste every night after brushing and flossing and using her interdental brush (her usual nighttime dental cleaning routine), then leaving the MI Paste on her teeth all night. She no longer has sensitivity along the gumline, the cavities are in the process of filling in, and her teeth are now shiny and strong all the way to the gums. This is a VERY EFFECTIVE product. She states that the strawberry flavor tastes good, and the Xylitol doesn't upset her stomach and gut. We will be ordering more.

My daughter at age 11, (we have been using this product for about 4 years now) doesn't use enough pressure or spend enough time in the crevices to get her teeth clean. This product, dissolves the last of the plaque so we can stay away from cavities. Even on my own teeth, I am age 56, sometimes due to the foods I eat and the fact that my enamel has worn thin due to age, there is a grit that builds up. The MI paste removes it in one application. We will keep using this product for our family as long as it is available. And yes the yellowing of my teeth is much less since I have been using the paste. For best results, you have to use it everyday, after regular brushing. It does not replace normal toothpastes, it doesn't even adhere to a tooth brush.

The change in re-enameling is subtle but steady and does show a difference in the color of the teeth in about 2 to 3 weeks. The reduction in sensitivity was more apparent and quicker, about 3 days to a week. I tend to be a tooth grinder, so coupling this paste with a magnesium supplement definitely made a difference in the damage to my teeth. Bruxism is known to respond to Magnesium.
