Brush and floss your teeth to the best of your ability! GUM Plak-Check makes any plaque on your teeth visible, indicating areas missed during cleaning.

This easy-to-use system is proven to be effective in reducing plaque and gingival index scores (the amount of plaque and the evidence of gingivitis) by highlighting areas that need more attention.

Plak-Check uses yellow sodium fluorescein, which only adheres to plaque, rather than the red dyes that tend to stain your entire mouth. It also brushes away quickly after use.

Plak-Check not only allows children to develop proper brushing habits, but it is fun too! This system is perfect for promoting better oral care in both children and adults.

*Includes 72 liquid filled swabs, a special blue light with mirror and 4 AA batteries.

Ingredients: Sodium Fluorescein 0.75%

How to Use:

Hold swab still inside the cellophane with the red colored ring facing up. Bend the head of applicator until it snaps. Do not break off completely. The liquid will flow to the opposite end of the swab.
Split the cellophane in the middle of the swab. Remove cellophane on the fluorescein soaked end only. This will prevent you from getting the solution on your hands.
Rub the cotton head soaked with solution below the tongue behind the lower front teeth for 4-5 seconds.
Swish liquid around the mouth for five seconds in order to cover all teeth.
Rinse mouth with a small amount of water.
Visualize plaque with the light unit.

Caution: Keep unused swabs in the carton and away from light
